Add a Northwoods rally bar for awesome front-end protection. Made from seamless DOM tubing and Grade 8 hardware, our light bar mounts directly to the frame with our custom designed CNC cut bolts for a solid mount and tow point.

  • Heavy duty bar adds protection to the front end—this bar is stout! Will help stiffen front end of chassis, and fend off the critters.
  • Base bar includes universal light mounting tabs to fit up most lighting options. 24” LEDS and pod ditch lite options mount right up. Or go OG with round halogens—customize with your lighting preference.
  • Optional Pre-runner style 1” tube hoop protects lights and adds additional accessory mounting options.
  • Optional light mounting tabs on top prerunner hoop. Mounts some large round lights up high for an old school rally style look.
  • Optional shackle mount tabs for tow points—5000 pound max straight line pull. Use shackle with 5/8″ pin. Or add our shackles in cool color choices.
  • Optional license plate mounting tab–mounts to the bottom left side of the main bar, or other locations on request
  • Bolts up directly—no welding  or cutting required.
  • Powder coated in black for a long-lasting finish.

Lights shown for example—lights not included.

May partially block license plate on some models.

I ordered the light bar with prerunner hoop and clevis mounts. Installation took less than half an hour. Bolted up to the front two tow hook’s holes. It looks well made and is powder coated finish.

The bar doesn’t block the front license plate. I like that it doesn’t block the upper bumper’s opening where I mounted the hidden aux lights. There are plenty mounting points on the bar for light bars and pods.

Thank you for your good review. Great to hear your lightbar is working so well for you!

Just installed the light bar! Very simple process overall, it was just difficult torque down the tow points since the holes would rotate as I tightened. Figuring out the timing was all that is needed! I added a 22″ LED Roadshock Light bar and everything turned out nice. Using the tow points is very clever since I did not have to worry about running wire, and having a more rigid front end is a plus! Thank you all for your hard work.

My rav4 has the the black horse bull bar on the front (mounts from the bottom brackets). I welded a license plate bracket to the middle of the bottom bar and really like how it sits so I didn’t want to remove it. The northwoods bar mounts differently (tow hook brackets) and is more secure to the frame a pose to the black horse so I took a little bit of a gamble hoping this would fit in front of the black horse bar. With the tiniest bit of trimming a couple tack welds and some paint to the light mounts it fits perfectly. I really wish i could upload a picture of how perfect this worked out. looks fantastic together I absolutely love it. Next on the to do list is the 2″ Bilstein b8 lift and a skid plate 😁

Overall installation of the lightbar itself was very simple and straight forward. It should not take longer than 30 min to 1 hour, I will admit adjusting for proper fitment was the most tedious part. I had to time the mounts perfectly since it would still rotate when I was torquing it down. Mounting the actual light was also quite tedious since I had to use a coat hanger to punch through a rubber gromet on the driver side and pull the wires back into the cabin. I am very pleased with this product! Great work guys!
