Northwoods Performance suspension system provides increased ride height with tuned springs to dramatically improve street and trail performance. On the street, your RAV will eat the corners and have greatly reduced braking dive. On the trail, you will eat up the potholes and dips without bottoming out, even when loaded with coolers, dogs, and gear. All without being too harsh for your daily commute. We offer our full kits with fully assembled front struts.
This Performance Upgrade uses Bilstein’s’ B4 struts and shocks. The legendary Bilstein ride and reliability will greatly improve compression damping, and especially rebound damping, for a more composed ride on the street and the trail; you’ll be able to take the bigger hits without the rebound ‘bounce’. This noticeably improves the ride over KYB, Monroe, or other stock replacement options.
The front lift is available with 1.5″ or 2″ lift options. 2″ lift includes rear lift bushings.

Purchased this with 1.5″ lift. Northwoods suggested it might require new CVs, however this wasn’t necessary. My service guy also replaced rear brakes (!)
Alignment was adjusted to near perfect.
The rav4 seems a little higher than 1.5″, but it drives and looks very nice! Shame I cannot post a photo.
I now have to step a bit higher, and the dog must jump a little more vigorously.
The service guy remarked on the excellent quality of the kit.
Yes, it’s pricey, but well worthwhile. Highly (!) Recommended

I got the 1.5″ lift kit and I’m very happy with the quality of the parts and how my 2016 XLE Hybrid looks and rides. My stock suspension was getting worn out and I drive on dirt roads a lot for work and for other adventures. It now handles the dirt roads much better and I even got it to go over a small rock garden! With carefully wheel placement of course.
I have a hitch and bike rack installed and previously the rack would hit the ground over every little bump so I got this lift for the increased ground clearance and performance upgrade. I’m very happy with this lift!
I wish I had measured before I installed this as it does look more than a 1.5″ lift. I didn’t get a 2″ lift because I was worried about having to potentially upgrade the control arms and also about how it would look with stock tires. I have no plans on putting larger tires or making this an overland rig, that’s what my Tacoma is for!
